The number and sizes of the wheels in this case also has many variations, but larger wheels allow for more speed than smaller ones.

Aggressive skaters are those who like to ride and/or jump on railings, ramps, stairs, or whatever they may come across at any given time. These skaters usually use skates specifically for this, and they can be in many variations as well.

Slalom skaters are the tricksters (cones and such), hockey players, artistic and figure skaters, where the ability for a quick change of direction is needed.
These skaters require the wheels to be sized, or setup in such a way that not all wheels contact the surface at the same time. This allows much more maneuverability than a flat setup, while giving up some speed and stability in return.

Street skaters are just that, and can even be a combination of all three above, and I have seen them in just about every setup imaginable.
3 wheels, up to 5 wheels (I think I’ve seen 6 at least once!), and the wheels can get up to 135MM in today’s skating world.
Street skaters are happy with good speed and distance.

I’m not the fastest skater, nor do I do tricks, and I’m definitely not doing anything aggressive at my age. (props to those of you who do!)

I choose the 4x80mm full rocker setup for the physical benefits I know I get from it, but also for the pure joy of skating that way.

It’s almost like playing hockey the entire time I’m out there, and why it can be difficult for me to call it a day sometimes! 🙂

More from ChatGPT

Full Rocker Inline Skating I have tried the 4 wheel 80mm flat setup and the 3 wheel 110mm setup, and hate them both with a passion.
